Fucking Your Way Out

These words are simply aural punctuation points. It's like FLIPPING ON ALL CAPS when you speak. I mean YELL. It has the precise same negative effect in that it makes you look like you can't use words to illustrate your point - so you FLIP ON ALL CAPS.

Scott Hanselman approaches the topic from a different angle, but reaches similar conclusions: despite of what David Heinemeier Hanson says, proffessionalism is still a virtue and swearing is a sure way to undermine it.

Slide Design for Developers

Make your text huge. And then get rid of half of the words and make it huger. Almost all of the presentations I’ve ever seen at every conference screws this up.

Most of my text in my entire deck is at least 90pt. Usually I like to sit around 150pt, with spikes up to 300pt or more. You cannot get large enough.
